Sandtorgholmen Hotel is situated in idyllic surroundings along the strait that separates the larges island in Norway, Hinnøya, from the mainland. The hotel is built around an old trading post, and you find it about 30 km south of Harstad and about 28 km from the airport Harstad/Narvik Airport, Evenes.

At Sandtorgholmen you have a few options when it comes to accommodation. The warf has 10 hotelrooms, each and one in its unique style and with high standard. The Brita-suite is wheel-chair accessible and offers accommodation for two people in a double bed. The old storage is the oldest building on the property and is today the honeymoon suite. This building has survived four fires, and is said to bring luck to the newly-weds. 

If you are looking for a truly unique experience you can stay at Storgården, the main building. On the ground floor you can serve upto 20 people a royal dinner, and you can stay in one of the two suites. On the first floor there are two apartments with a total of four double bedrooms. 

If you arrive at Sandtorgholmen by boat you can dock at the modern pier, and if you arrive with your motorhome there are 25 places available, with electricity.
