Join us on a hike to Mount Keipen and enjoy Norwegian fjordlandscape from a spectacular viewpoint, 500 meters above sea level!

Mount Keipen offers a stunning 360 degree view from the top over fjords, islands, mountains and lakes. The climb goes over constantly rising but easy terrain from 323 meters above sea level to 496 meters above sea level. The total lenght is about 4 km and the climb and the descend take about 1 hour each.

As soon as you pass the treeline the view opens first to Toppsound and later straight down to the Kasfjord. On the way we pass by small lakes and will, depending on the time of the year, have the chance to taste blueberries, lingonberry,  black current, or the famous only above the arctic circle growing cloud berry. We can also be lucky to spot eagles or snow grouses.
