The city's most popular hiking terrain. Less than 2 km from the center of Harstad you find Folkeparken, a popular recreation area that is widely used by Harstad's population . Here you will find marked trails, lit skitracks in the winter, several traditional shelters. Tuftepark for training and lakes for swimming. If you follow the path to Musvannet, you can continue up the mountain for a magnificent view of Harstad.
