About
Bygdetunet is with its six buildings and 3000 artifacts one of the best kitted village square in northern Norway. In the main building there are 26 rooms, large and small. Part of the rooms are equipped with furniture and objects that belonged, and part is used for display purposes.
In addition to the main building has Grytøy bygdetun storehouse, barn with decor and barn with older agricultural tools. By sea states boathouse with Nordland boats, use and børnskap and motor housing with older boat motors and a small fisherman's cottage. Here you get an insight into a coastal culture which is about to disappear.
