Experience the region's most fantastic view of fjords and mountains on Keipen.

We start in our store in the sentrum of Harstad, from where we'll drive about 25 minutes to our starting point. 
Our adventure starts 350 meters above the sea and just after a short while we'll pass the tree boarder and start to get a taste of the view that awaits us on top. 
We reach the top of Keipen after about an hour of easy hiking and here, from 500 meters above the sea, we get an amazing panorama view of Toppsundet, Kasfjord and Andfjord. On the other side we have a view towards the steep mountains of Grytøya, that still tell a tale of the last ice age.

The way to the top offers many different places to have a break, drink something and hear a bit more about the nature around us. Once we reach the top we'll have a longer break where you can each your lunchpack and have something warm to drink.

We also recommend you to have some experience in mountain trails since the path is a mixture of rocks, earth and some roots that can be slippery.
