The Vikingevent will be arranged for the 4th time, and this time we have the pleasure to welcome you to this event north of the Arctic Circle. This will be the worlds northern most megaevent! The event will take place at historical Viking ground at Trondenes, in Harstad. We will here be able to walk in the foot paths of great Vikings such as Tore Hund and Asbjørn Selsbane. The area around Harstads own geocaching society, HåloGeo, is hosting the event.

The event will take place from 12:00-19:00.

There will be activities for both kids and adults during the day. The program will among other things include:
– culturewalk in Altevågen
– guided tour in Allmenningr
– guided tour to Adolfkanonen
– guided tour to Trondenes church
– Trondenes Historical center will be open all day
– vikingtrail with practical tasks
– basis and intermediate course in cachetur
– market and pop-up restaurant

«Masscaching» in both RIB boat and by bus during the weekend will be arranged. A more detailed program will be published on our homepage closer to the event date.
