The Moles

About

Our associate artist Philippe Quesne is a unique artist that combines visual art with theater and music in a style of his own. Quesne conceives and stages shows with a dramaturgy based on a strong connection between space, set, and bodies. The sets often become working studios or “vivarium spaces” that present a human microcosm.

His fantastic human size Moles will lead the parade that is a part of this years opening of the festival.

The opening ceremony itself will take place in the middle of the city square. There will be music, speeches and all in all perfect festival mood, rain or shine!
