Hidden gems
We start the trip from Sjøgata 3 by climbing a little higher, where we can see Harstad church closer. After this, we head down towards the harbour, an area that is vibrant with life and activities. On the way there, we pass through several of the city's cozy streets, where you can catch a glimpse of local building customs and everyday life, as well as shops, cafes and restaurants. Along the route there are many hidden gems.
The harbor promenade
From Harstad Cultural Centre, we follow the harbor promenade that stretches along the water's edge, and here we find several interesting art installations. These installations are part of the city's commitment to public art, and they give the promenade a unique and creative atmosphere. Take the time to study each installation; they all have their own history and meaning.
