Bigbang is finally back to rock the Backyard! Friday 18 August it's going to explode!

In 2022, it was 30 years since Øystein Greni put his skateboard on the shelf after a knee injury and found the guitar. Just a few months after the start, Bigbang had their first performance, but it took eight years before they conquered the VG list for the first time with Girl in Oslo. Since then, a total of nine album releases have visited Norway's official top list and most of them have reached first place.

Guitarist and vocalist Øystein Greni has been the common thread in Bigbang through several personnel changes, but the lineup with Nikolai Hængsle on bass and Olaf Olsen on drums is the foundation of so many hit albums, and over such a long time, that most consider it the trio's classic line-up. Øystein made a very good appearance on the last season of TV2's Hver Gang Vi Møtes. With his interpretations of Myra's Can't Fall and Tix's Kaller på deg, he really showed his musical rock background.

It's been 12 years since Bigbang last stood on our stage in Bakgården, and now it's finally time for a reunion. In Bakgården we get old hits such as Girl in Oslo, Fly like a Butterfly and Wildbirds, as well as songs from their latest album Glory Chords. This will be a fantastic evening in the name of rock!
