About the film:
Fluefangeren is a captivating political drama that captures the rise and fall of a dictatorship in a classroom. We meet Ghani, an idealistic teacher, who loses his own principles, when he locks the students inside the classroom in an attempt to cement the ethnical conflicts among his students and simultaneously save his job.
Fluefangeren is the Norwegian director Izer Alius first feature film. The film had its world premiere in the Discovery section at the International Film Festival in Toronto in 2016, where debut films by the future directors with an extraordinary talent is shown.
