Bergen's pop queen Hedda Mae will rule Bakgården on Saturday 19 August!
Hedda Mae is the newest shooting star in the Norwegian pop industry. The young person from Bergen was really noticed when she took part in the NRK program De Neste, where she interpreted songs from some of Norway's most famous artists. Hedda impressed with her energy and unique sound, and has developed into a rare pop comet with catchy and danceable songs. 90'S VIBE Hedda Mae has a unique talent for absorbing a number of well-known inspirations from the aesthetics of the 90s and 00s, to create futuristic pop music that is completely her own sound. Her groovy, energetic and playful attitude has been warmly received by fans, press and radio in Norway and internationally.
Hedda was met with brilliant criticism after she left the stage at Rockefeller at By:larm 2020 and the world lay ready at her feet. When the pandemic struck just days later, all concert plans and foreign ventures suddenly went down the drain. Hedda and producer Benjamin then got a lot of time in the studio, and this resulted in a creative boost and travel in different genres and expressions. In September 2022, Hedda returned to by:Larm where it all began! This time on the festival's main stage, Sentrum Stage, where she released her third EP which rounded off her trilogy project of EPs on the same evening.
After a fantastic reception from the national and international press, as well as the public, she is now ready to go on tour and present the project, which is even more colorful and louder than before.
