
About
Born in 1996 in Japan, Misora started playing the piano at the age of four.
She has won several prizes in competitions both in Japan and abroad, including 1st prize and the Audience Prize in the MozARTe International Piano Competition in 2019 (Germany), Grand Prize in the 40th PTNA Piano Competition in 2016 (Japan), 3rd prize and the ENSO Prize in the Tallinn International Piano Competition in 2021 (Estonia).
She has given many solo concerts and concerts with orchestras, including the Minnesota Orchestra, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Poland Pilharmonia Krakowska, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra. Misora released her first album "MISORA" in March 2017 on King Records. She was educated at the Showa University of Music, where she studied under Fumiko Eguchi, and currently studies under Antti Siirala at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München.
