Wild Violet Road returns to tame the Backyard on Thursday 17 August!

The guys in Violet Road may be from Kåfjord, but we consider them a bit of ours after their fantastic concerts both in Bakgården and at Bakgården LIVE!

In autumn 2007, Violet Road went into the studio and recorded their first album. After seven days of melancholy and darkness, they concluded that something more cheerful was needed here! Of all things, they then thought of The Cure, and the wonderful Friday I'm In love. So they just as easily recorded their own version, and had a hell of a lot of fun in the process! When they woke up the next day and realized that it was songs like this that they were going to have many more of. Shortly afterwards they wrote "Can you hear the morning singing" and have not looked back. Now the guys are celebrating 15 years as a band and are coming back to celebrate with the best audience - which of course can be found in Bakgården!

Many loyal Bakgårds-goers may remember when Violet Road visited Bakgården in 2019. It was a fantastic evening - not only for us, but also for the band. - We are very much looking forward to coming back and playing at Bakgården! The atmosphere and the sound of the audience that you get there, you have to look for a long time to find elsewhere. It will be a magnificent evening.
