Ilios festival for new music, belongs to New Music Harstad.

The festival derives its name from the Greek sun god Ilios, and reflects the sun's return to the region. The festival is always added to the weekend week 5, in those days the sun shines again at Harstad.

Ilios festival for new music has during 20 years of existence, has evolved to become one of the country's most established and larger festivals for new music. During the four days of the festival shows the breadth and variety in contemporary music.
